Name and Location:
The name Sherwood was selected to perpetuate
the legend of Robin Hood of Sherwood Forest. For
hundreds of years the name Robin Hood has represented
the spirit of fair play, loyalty, justice and
adventure. |

| Camp buildings and other
facilities are named for persons and happenings in the
great story of Robin Hood. The camp is ideally located
in the center of the state 20 miles east of Galesburg,
between the communities of Victoria and Dahinda. |
